Here She is!

Here is the cheeky madam that has entered our lives and already in the short time we've had her, given us a lot of pleasure. Her antics are so funny to watch and she seems to have made herself at home, even venturing outside for the first time today - but quickly running back in, not appearing to want to go outside in any hurry. She spends time looking through the window, sitting on top of the armchairs.

The other picture shows some of the eggs we've had from the hens. There were a few double yokers, and they taste delicious! Good girls!

Runner Beans from the Garden
Gravy from Heaven

lovely little kitten.

Gosh, I haven't seen/eaten a double yolk egg for years. One of the advantages of healthy happy free range chickens.

  They aren't laying the double yokers these days, but there was a spate of them a couple of months back.

  That's true. She's made herself well at home and it's nice to be greeted by her when getting back home after being out.

  I don't know about streetwise - she's terrified at the noise traffic makes on the road. We live up on a bank, with steps going down to the road. So far, she's just stayed around the house and rushes in the house when something loud and big goes past.
