DINNER
Roast Lamb Chops with fresh Thyme
Boiled New Baby Potatoes
Salad a la Moi with Avocados

I could have had spinach from the garden for dinner, but only thought of it after dark, so salad it is. The avocado is a bit special, and with a Walnut Oil and Balsamic Vinegar dressing it'll be yummy.

Right. Minnie news. The kitten-loving posts might be a tad nauseous, but, if you saw her, you'd go "ah" for sure.
Since Mr A has been away working this week, she's been banished from the lean-to and stayed in my bedroom, keeping me company. She woke me up this morning with a gentle tap with her soft furry paw on my face. No claws. At a decent hour too.
One of her favourite games is sitting on the top of the armchair, tapping whoever is in the chair on the head. She does get her claws out to comb out my hair and they get tangled up.

My grandaughters and their mum came for a visit and brought her a present. I've never heard of a kitten getting a present before...it was a dangling brightly coloured crescent moon on some elastic, fastened to a stick. It's soft material with some ribbons and is just the thing.

My meals on wheels round is still growing...up to 18 clients now. It does get a bit waring getting in and out of the car so many times. Still, it's a vital service and I don't really mind, I'm just a regular whiner...The new car is going well, although the speedo packed up and I'm waiting to hear when the part comes in. Otherwise, it's great, got the radio working so I can listen and drive at the same time.
Cars do have personalities. Mr A's Berlingo van doesn't have much of a personality. I put it down to it being such a good car, that it is - just a machine. Whereas my little Corsa Envoy feels the bumps in the road and feels like I'm driving a sports car as it's quite low on the ground.

So, this week I wasn't in the mood for blogging. Could be something to do with being able to finally get E4 and C4 on our telly....
